Earthquakes After a Lunar Eclipese

Butterfly
I am wondering if there is a connection between a lunar eclipse followed by an earthquake. When we were observing the eclipse last week, my husband made a prediction that there would be an earthquake within two days. I had forgotten about this conversation, until I just read some articles about an earthquake that occured in the 48 hours following the eclipse!

The earthquake was centered near Wells, NV, much to the surprise of many people there. It was said to be fairly large, registering a 6.0 on the richter scale. Could this be a coincidence, or is there a connection?

I have tried to find information regarding this subject online, but found none. I am hoping that someone here may have information which may help. If there is anyone who can enlighten me, I would really appreciate anything you have to share.

Whoops! I remember a lunar eclispe occured the night after (Feb 10, 1971) the Sylmar/San Fernando quake of February 9, 1971. I was 12 years -old at time.

I did a web search about the relation to a lunar eclipse and earthquacks because i remember the moon turning red the night of the 1971 earthquack. I was 7 years old, but that was a very clear memory of the whole incident. I lived in Van Nuys, about 10 miles from the epicenter. Its very interesting I found others here who remember too. We'll see. Fasten your seat belts!

I have also noticed a relationship between Lunar Eclipses and Earthquakes. I first noticed it with the Sylmar Earthquake, February 9, 1971, with a magnitude of 6.6. There was a lunar eclipse the night before. There is a lunar eclipse tonight - let's see what happens.
