Post a CommentSmall earthquakes make me realize the earth is one amazing ball...big earthquakes make me start to anchor my stuff to the wall. - I've lived in CA and experienced the 1989 San Jose 7.1 and the recent San Diego shaker...I'll take a quake over a hurricane or tornado any day...
It's scary isn't it just how many earthquakes there are every day. The number of larger ones in the last couple of months is rather worrying to me. I am sure it's just coincidence and not a sudden increase, but to think that these events might be on the increase is somewhat scary.
I periodically check the USG world earthquake map, always surprised to see one reported in the midwestern states. Even New York city and New Jersey experience the occasional quake, but the earthquake ring is constantly active.
I never knew about OK earthquakes. That's interesting.
Hadn't heard about this! Thanks!
Earthquakes in OK - who'dve thought it?!
