1 boxed cake mix (any flavor)
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Gather all the ingredients together.

Empty the cake mix into a large mixing bowl and add the oil and eggs. Mix well to incorporate all the ingredients together.

Form the dough into walnut-size balls and place on an un-greased cookie sheet or non-stick baking pan.

Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the bottoms of the cookies are slightly browned.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool.

Variations
Add coconut and macadamian nuts to a chocolate cake mix for a decadent cookie recipe.
After forming the dough into balls, roll chocolate cookie mix into powdered sugar before baking.
Add a hint of mint by using mint chocolate chip pieces in the chocolate cookie mix.
Add 2 Tbsp. of instant coffee for a mocha-flavored cookie.
Any variety of nuts and dried fruits can be added to the cookie mix to create many types of cookies using one basic recipe.

For Gift Giving
Fill a canning jar with the dried ingredients and seal. Cover the top with fabric and a ribbon. Add a hang tag with the recipe directions. Combine several cookie jar mixes in a gift basket for a specialized treat.
Tip
You may want to gather other ingredients, like chocolate chips, coconut and other items to create one-of-a-kind cookies.
