I don't know when I've ever felt so lost and alone
In a place that I have come to know as home.
In a place that I have come to know as home.
Turmoil and confusion clouding my mind
Searching my soul, some comfort, I'm blind.
Everything turned upside down and inside out
The woman I used to know, internal screams and shouts.
From the depth of her silence, she no longer feels
She drops to the ground, on her knees, she kneels.
Praying, she summons to regain all of her strength
To stand up, brush it off, walk it off and think.
A survivor she is, put to the test
Rising above it all, leaving the rest.
