Easter Day is the perfect time to have some fun doing activities with the whole family. Easter Day activities for the whole family are a fun way to get away from the front of the TV, spend some time as a family, and celebrate this special day.

Here are 3 ideas for free Easter Activities for the Whole Family:

Easter Activities for the Whole Family #1: Easter Board Games

Why not put a fun Easter Twist on your favorite board games? You can use small plastic Easter bunnies in place of the pieces the game board came with. These can be bought at the craft store and the toy store. Look for the area with small plastic toys!

You can even change up the look o the whole game board. For instance, take the "Jail" square on the Monopoly board and turn it into the "Rabbit Den!" Kids will love the Easter touches and the whole family can help come up with the ideas, then enjoy playing their Easter games.

Easter Activities for the Whole Family #2: Petting Zoo

So, one of the most Easter touches is of course the bunny, so why not make a special trip to visit some real live bunnies. Check out local petting zoos in your area. Chances are most of these have small animal slice bunnies, ducks, and more spring animals perfect for a fun day out of the house each the family.

Local farms that open their doors to the public are also a fun option. Plan on making a whole day of it with the family. You can pack a picnic lunch to enjoy after you visit the animals. Be sure to bring along some hand sanitizer though!

Easter Activities for the Whole Family #3: Cooking Class

Cooking class is fast becoming a whole family affair! Thanks to channels like Food Network kids are more into cooking than ever before. Try planning a cooking class for Easter Sunday that allows the whole family to prepare a special Easter lunch!

Another fun twist on this would be a cooking class that teaches you how to make your own chocolate Easter Bunnies! Melting and working with chocolate is a fun way to create some yummy Easter desserts. Mom and Dad can handle the hot parts and the kids can help decorate the chocolate bunnies!

Best of all, everyone can enjoy eating!
