Take an empty paper towel roll and cut it into two halves, then you can either discard one half or make two bunnies. Or else you could just use an empty toilet paper roll.
Next, take some white construction paper and cover the paper tube inside and out. If you look at the photo illustration you will notice that my little friend did not take the time to cover the inside of his bunny but I think it would look better if you did, but do whatever floats your boat, it's your bunny!
You'll then need to cut some of your white construction paper in shapes to make two ears, two front legs, and two paws. We used white construction paper and then used a pink marker to color in the pink parts of the ears. You could also use pink construction paper and make the inside of the ears black, or some variation on that.
Get out the glue (or in our case tape because we didn't have any glue) and attach the ears and paws and legs to the body of your bunny. We took a black pen and drew in the claws on the paws of our bunny rabbit, but you could use black construction paper and cut out claws if you want to go that extra mile.
We took the easy route and drew the face of the bunny, but you could always use black construction paper to cut out the eyes, mouth, teeth and whiskers. You could also use pink construction paper for the nose.
Last but not least, you'll want to glue on a cottonball for the bunny tail. Our cottonball wasn't big enough to show up very well in the photo, but you get the idea.
There you have it ... a cute inexpensive Easter bunny rabbit! You could even make an entire Easter bunny family if you want to ... quick - easy - and fun!
