Easter Cards Anyone Can Make

Jane Vee
Looking for a fun way to celebrate Easter this year? Making Easter cards for your favorite people is a great way to show people that you are thinking of them. They are fun, easy, and something children or adults can do. Here are just a few ideas for memorable homemade Easter cards.

An Easter basket card is not only cute, but you can also make it appropriately functional. You can use construction paper or poster board for your card material. Fold the paper material to the size you would like your card to be and cut. Be sure to leave the fold as the edge of the card so you can open it. Draw an Easter basket and decorate. Between the handle of the basket and the top part of the basket you can write HAPPY EASTER. Open it and on the inside use the leftover paper to make a basket. Cut the front bottom part of a basket from the paper. Glue or staple the "basket" onto the card. Make it big enough for a piece of candy or a gift card. You can write your sentiment and sign your name above the basket.

If you are not the creative type, there is all sorts of help for you. You can still send that homemade Easter card with your personal touch. Your home Easter card can be as easy as folding a piece of paper to look like a card and writing your sentiments on it.

Another easy Easter card is to download free Easter card templates. "Hoppy Easter" is from Family Crafts. All you need is a computer, printer, paper, and pen. Do not get nervous, the pen is just to address the card and sign your name. Other free printable cards can be found online such as Mint Printables,Got Free Cards, and Print Free. There are many more free cards to choose from on the internet.

If downloads from the computer are a bit much to handle, you can buy templates in the stores as well. If you have to pay for the templates, you may just want to buy the Easter cards in the store.

Remember that anyone can make an Easter card. They are fun to make and a great way to show someone you care. Making Easter cards can be a family project to spend time together, too. Happy Easter.
