Every morning
The sun rises in the east
Reminding us of the Savior
Who from the tomb was released.

When Easter day comes
Oh what joy, what jubilation
The Christian world experiences
Without a moment of trepidation.
It was long time ago
That death lost its sting
When Christ chose to rise
And eternal life did bring.
So, although we mourn
Those that passed on before
We remember our Savior
And how He opened life's door.
