Stickers & Rubber Bands Eggs
Use some Easter-themed stickers, round stickers, and rubber bands to give your Easter eggs some bling this season. You will need some hard-boiled eggs (blown-out) and some Paas egg dye. First, prepare the egg dye.
For the Easter sticker eggs, press some stickers on an egg that has not been dipped in the egg dye. Rub carefully around the edges of the stickers. Immerse the egg in the egg dye and let dry. Now you are ready to remove the stickers.
Make some cool designs with rubber bands and egg dye! Just wrap a few rubber bands, of different sizes and shapes, around the egg. Dip into the dye and let dry. Then, remove the rubber bands.
To make polka dot eggs, use round stickers and repeat the above process.
Marbelized Easter Eggs
To make marbelized eggs, decide what base color you want your egg to be. If you want a color other than brown or white, paint the egg a solid color and let it dry. Use a paper towel tube cut off at the end to hold the egg and keep it from rolling off the table. Pour some paint onto a plate and dip an old toothbrush into it to dot the egg in brush strokes. Paint one side and let it dry. Then repeat on the other side.
Flower Easter Eggs
For flower eggs, pick two colors of paint and pour some into a paper plate. Use a toothpick dipped into the paint to make the petals of the flower. Lay the toothpick down on the paint. To make a floral egg, make your petals in a circle pattern. Make sure to leave room in the middle for the center of the flower. Make designs on one side of the egg at a time and let the paint dry. Get a new toothpick and make the flower center with two or three dots. Let your egg dry! You have a beautiful floral Easter Egg!
Polka Dot "Spotted" Easter Eggs
Make some spotted eggs with two or more colors of paint and a pencil eraser! Dot on one color at a time. Use several pencils if you are switching colors or be sure to wipe off the eraser before changing colors.
Glitter Eggs
For an egg-stra special event, make some glitter eggs with acrylic paint, wood eggs, glitter nail polish, and beads.
Paint your eggs with popping acrylic paint, such as magenta, yellow, or lime green. Let the paint dry. Add some glitter nail polish, in different color combinations, and let dry. Add some extra bling with fabric paint. Use your imagination to make these eggs as creative and artistic as you can. Put some decorative beads on the eggs while the paint is wet and then let dry. Place the finished eggs in a nice Easter basket or bowl.
