Easter Egg Hunts in the Salisbury, MD Delmarva Peninsula Area

The Easter season is again upon us and I know all of you with children on the Delmarva Peninsula will be looking for some Easter Egg Hunts so I decided to provide a list of the local area hunts.

Mar 27:

7th Annual Easter Parade; Main St., Fruitland; Egg hunt; Fruitland Recreation Park; 410-430-6758.

The 10th annual Easter Egg Hunt, organized by the Greater Georgetown Chamber of Commerce is set for Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Nutter Marvel Carriage Museum in Georgetown. At least 5,000 eggs filled with special toys and treats will be hidden on the Museum grounds. The egg hunt kicks-off at noon for kids in various age categories up to 12 years. Apr 4:

Merry Sherwood Easter Egg Hunt. Also sponsored by the Burbage family, this one is at the Merry Sherwood plantation in Berlin on Sunday, 2 p.m. Age 8 and under. Free.

The Froggy 99.9 Easter Egg Hunt(s) will run from 10a.m. to Noon at the Shorebirds Stadium in Salisbury, MD with four separate hunts scheduled to accommodate children of all ages. NEW this year is the Toddler crawl for children under 3, which will begin at 10am. Other age groups are 3 to 5, 6 to 8 and 9-12. There will be a 30 minute break between each age group. For each hunt thousands of colored eggs will be spread across the outfield, more than enough for all kids to enjoy, and at the end of each hunt kids can take their plastic eggs to the "Candy Aisle" and turn them in for an assortment of Easter candy.
