Some things happening in my area this year for Easter are going to be festive and fun filled. You ought to check it out:
*Annual Easter Egg Hunt-

This is a great place to gather with family and friends and take the little ones to, to hunt out lots of Easter eggs. Food never smelled so good or looked so good too. Come and join the Valdese community and get your "Hunt On". Children ages two and under as well as up to ten years of age are welcome to participate for prizes and candy.
*Community Easter Hunt-
Where:Burke County Recreational Department, Western Piedmont Community College grounds

When:April 4th, at 10:00 am (SHARP)
Ages two and under, as well as ages up to eleven, are welcomed to hunt eggs, for prizes, toys, and more. Parents are welcomed to help the little ones, find their eggs.
Website to look at www.ci.morganton.nc.us, to find out more information. This is a great and large community event. There are over 20,000 eggs hid, both candy and plastic. Come out and enjoy this with your children, family and friends.
*Comma's production, "JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR"
When:March 15th,at 3:00pm
Where:Comma, municipal auditorium, downtown Morganton, NC
This is about a rock opera by TED NEELY, it is an inspirational and moving story of Easter. It depicts the seven days before Jesus of Nazareth"s life.
The Comma has more information about prices and for reservations.

Area churches will have sunrise services starting at 6:00 am, this is a candlelight vigil for the rememberance of Jesus rising from the grave. Some churches are,
