Beeping Easter Eggstravanza Hunt & Carnival. Visually impaired and blind children have gathered together for more than ten years to participate in the Beeping Easter Eggstravanza Hunt at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center in Deer Park, Texas. This year's event will be held on Sunday, April 17th from 2 to 4 p.m. There is also a special event for children who are wheelchair-bound. The egg hunt is divided into age groups, with the older children searching for beeping eggs while the smaller ones have eggs that actually shout things like "Hey, I'm over here!" This is a definite Houston, Texas must-attend for any family who has a visually impaired or blind child.
Old Town Spring. Come to Old Town Spring in Texas on April 16 to celebrate Easter with a traditional egg hunt. The Great Easter Egg Hunt begins at 10 a.m. in Thyme Square, with local merchants providing eggs and prizes. Children will be divided into age groups for egg gathering, and be sure to bring your own basket. The Easter Bunny himself will be in attendance, and admission is free.
The Orange Show Center for Visual Art. The Easter Orange Hunt will be held this year on April 23 at 10 a.m. Children should bring their own baskets to hunt for egg, treats, and of course, oranges! Following the hunt will be the Orange Show Season Opening Party, complete with live entertainment and refreshments. Admission is free to the Orange Show Center for Visual Art, although they do accept donations.
Houston's Easter Egg Hunt. The city of Houston, Texas will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt this year 10:30 a.m. on April 23 at MacGregor Park. Come join the children of Houston as they search for eggs and enjoy other games and prizes, with the Easter Bunny himself joining in the celebration. You can also enjoy Houston's beautiful MacGregor park as you take part in this annul Houston, Texas festivity.
George Bush Presidential Library and Museum. The George Bush Library in Houston, Texas will hold its annual Easter celebration on April 16 from 9:30 a.m. to noon. In addition to an egg hunt, there will be face painting, an egg toss and even an egg roll. Refreshments will be served, and you can use your own camera to take pictures of your child with the Easter Bunny. A kite-flying contest begins at 11 a.m., with prizes awarded for the most original and the most artistic kites.
