Easter is my favorite time;
I dream of it all year.
I dream of it all year.
While others long for holly,
I think of Springtime's cheer.
Bright blue skies on Easter morn,
Bright colored Easter Dresses,
Crisp, white gloves and patent shoes,
And chocolate Easter messes.
Baskets, bunnies, colored eggs;
Grass tucked all around it.
Children running willy-nilly,
Shouting out, "I found it!"
Families in pews at church,
What's next everybody knows.
Now the Greatest Song is sung;
UP From the Grave He Arose!
