Easter lesson plans are fun for the little ones. They can add their own imagination to the lessons. Teachers provide our children with an education, no matter the age. The Easter bunny is the icon of the holiday, and teachers can have a blast creating these lesson plans for their students.
Baskets are easy to make and design. Children love to have their own basket to call their own. Teachers can pick up cheap and inexpensive baskets from their local Dollar Tree store. Teachers can pick up various other items, such as stickers and glitter glue to decorate the baskets. This lets them be free with their creativity and imagination.
Egg hunts are a big tradition. Children love to the game of hide and seek, and an egg hunt is just that. Plastic eggs are the best to use because prizes can be hidden inside them. The egg hunt can be a game of whoever finds the most wins. Children can help fill the eggs before they are hidden. Preschoolers enjoy the fun and games of hiding and finding Easter eggs. The weather may be an issue, but if so, the egg hunt can happen indoors. Weather will not be an issue for the hunt.
The beautiful, pastel colors are the colors of spring. Dyeing eggs is another tradition. Splashes of color give them a new beginning. Preschoolers are given a chance to create a beautiful egg of their own. The amount of eggs will be determined by how many are in the classroom. As the teacher you want to make sure each child has their own egg to design.
Photos with the Easter bunny are a great way for children to learn the traditions of the bunny that brings goodies once a year. A parent volunteer can dress up in the bunny suit. Do not force the children to take a photo with the bunny because some children are afraid of the Easter bunny. This is common among some young children.
The little students will have a good time with these lesson plans. The Easter holiday is full of warm memories for them to create. All lesson plans need to be monitored with adult supervision. These can be changed to fit the needs of the children.
Easter is a spring holiday that brings happiness to all those who celebrate this joyous holiday. Children can learn so much with these lesson plans.
