Melted chocolate bunnies
and streaks of dye
on the kitchen counter,
and streaks of dye
on the kitchen counter,
bits of plastic grass
on the carpeting
and forgotten,
sugared marshmallow chicks
bear mute witness to a strange,
pagan festival
dressed in lamb's clothing
and coated in milk chocolate.

Post a CommentNicely done!!!!!!!!!!
I wrote an article about Easter that you might enjoy...maybe not though..I noticed that you commented on someone's article about why they don't believe in evolution and you didn't seem to think that they should've written it at all. I think your comment was, roughly...not verbatim, "your whole article could've been summed up as I believe i evolution because I take the bible literally." Well that would kind of be like me saying to a universalist, "You should just not write about religion at all because you're a pluralist." haha, but I look at your work a lot and you have a gift with words. Don't hate on me....haha.
