Easter Sunday is a special day because he died for our sins
And he roused on Easter Sunday a day we all should remember
He sacrificed everything for us so that we could live

Easter Sunday is not just for Easter eggs and pretty dresses
Who has the prettiest dress or shoes on Easter Sunday
This is a Holy day a very special day a day we all should remember

He gave his life for us so that we could live, what can compare to this
We all should give thanks on this special day because we have life
Life that no one else could give us only Jesus Christ who loves us so

On this Easter Sunday I'm wishing you well, he was punished for our sins
And all the iniquities we done, he did not shed a tear or go in fear for
He who gave his life for us and would do it again, and again

So on this Easter Sunday give thanks for your life and how you came to be
He appeared to many for 40 days which makes this a special day for all
So in the name of Jesus Christ our father on this special day bless all
