Easter Sequined Eggs

curvycat
Remember the sequined fruit from the 60's? I have not seen them in years except on eBay for a pricey little fee. There are also the shiny Easter eggs. I never cared about them at all until I saw them at an acquaintance house all sparkly and gorgeous gathered in one big basket. I went to the craft store to purchase all the makings and started to make some that night.
They take about an hour and a half sitting watching television.

You need a Styrofoam egg, straight pins, your favorite color sequins (med. ) and tiny beads. You can mix and match. Go crazy.
There is no rhyme or reason, just start poking and add different colors when you want. If you want straight stripes, add a pencil line to line up your pins when you first start.

I love Sunday dinners with family. Nice summer bbq s are the greatest. I try to have a peaceful life without the outside world affecting it. That s a challenge in itself!  View profile
