You gave your life, in such a inspiring kind of way,
We celebrate your resurrection, not considering the amount you had to pay.
With Eggs and bunnies, and hide and seek,
You look down in shame as you take a peek.
With Candy, balloons, and scavenger hunts,
We hide the true meaning, not being so blunt.
Your children grow up not knowing your true sorrows,
I'm sorry and feel shame for the ignorant tomorrows.
