Eastern North Carolina Knows How to Have Fun on the 4th of July

A special light show of fireworks and other celebration activities will be going off as Eastern North Carolina celebrates the 4th of July. Below is a listing of towns, times and locations so that if you are visiting anywhere in Eastern North Carolina or live here you can be sure to take part of the festivities safely.

Greenville will be having their fireworks at the Town Common. Celebration starts at 4 pm. Fireworks at 9 pm. For more information contact the Greenville Jaycees at 252-931-2854.

Havelock will be having their fireworks at the City Park. Entertainment & fun begins at 5 pm. Fireworks at 9 pm. For more information call 252-444-6349.

Washington will be having their fireworks on the waterfront. Entertainment starts at 4:30 pm. Fireworks begins at 9:15 pm

New Bern has scheduled their fireworks to be conducted at the Union Point Park. 2d Marine Aircraft Wing Band will perform at 7 pm. Fireworks begin 9:15 pm.

Kinston has their fireworks at the legendary Grainger Stadium. Fireworks start at 9:30 pm after the Kinston Indians ball game.

Farmville will be celebrating the 4th at the Walter B. Jones Town Common. Starts at 7 pm. Free cake, watermelon and entertainment. For more information call 252-753-4670.

Belhaven will also be a waterfront event. Music by the river starts at 8 pm. Fireworks at 9 pm.

Camp Lejeune will be having it's fireworks at the W.P.T. Hill Field. Open to the public. A free Danielle Peck concert starts at 5:30 pm. Fireworks begin at dusk. For more information please call 910-451-3535.

Emerald Isle will be having it's beautiful fireworks along the Bogue Inlet Pier at 9:30 pm. Visible along the beach strand.

Sneads Ferry will be having fun at the Community Center. Fun & music starts at 6:30 pm. Fireworks start at dusk.

As you can see there will be plenty of activity, fun, games, entertainment and food along with music and baseball games to celebrate the 4th with spectacular firework shows at dusk to end the celebration. So if you are living in Eastern North Carolina or plan to be visiting our coastline feel free to find an area and join in with the festivities as we celebrate our nations independence.
