In addition to the one St. Patrick's Day parade that actually occurs on St. Patrick's Day (New York City) there are other parades in the Eastern part of New York that you may want to experience.

Eastern New York St. Patrick's Day Parades

Bay Ridge: Sunday, March 30th, 2008

The day begins with 9:30am Mass at St. Patrick's Church, located at 4th Avenue and 95th Street.

The Bay Ridge parade begins to form at noon at St. Patrick's Church. The procession begins at 1pm. The parade moves down Fourth Avenue and heads north to Fifth Avenue. From Fifth Avenue it continues to 59th street. There will be a Chance Book raffle drawing at 3pm at the Grand Stand, located at 5th Avenue and 75th Street.

Brooklyn: Sunday, March 16th, 2008

The Brooklyn parade takes place on Sunday, March 16th,2008 at 1pm.

Buchanan Tri-Village: Sunday, March 16th, 2008

The Buchanan Tri-Village, New York St. Patrick's Day Parade is on Sunday, March 16th, 2008 at 2pm.

Eastchester: Sunday, March 16th, 2008

The Eastchester New York parade is on Sunday, March 16th, 2008 at 3pm. The Grand Marshal of the parade, according to the Eastchester Irish-American Social Club, is Margaret McGorty Colavita. This is the fourth annual parade sponsored by this organization.

It begins at Immaculate Conception Church located in Tuckahoe. The procession heads up Main Street to Lake Isle Country Club, according to the Eastchester Irish-American Social Club.

Glen Cove: Sunday March 16, 2008

The Glen Cove, New York St. Patrick's Day Parade is on Sunday March 16, 2008 at 1pm. John Canning is the Grand Marshal, according to the Glen Cove St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee.

The parade forms behind Finley Middle School located on Forest Avenue. From there, it moves onto Forest Avenue south of Dosoris Lane, to Brewster Street, then to School Street, to Glen Street, and it ends at Glen Street and Persall Avenue, at St. Patrick's Church. The organizers note that you should not try park at the school, since it will not be allowed. Instead, they suggest parking at the Glen Cove Parking Garages on Brewster Street. There will be a free shuttle bus.

Mount Kisco: Saturday, March 15th, 2008

The Mount Kisco, New York St. Patrick's Day Parade is on Saturday, March 15th, 2008 at 2pm. According to the Ancient Order of the Hiberians in America, the parade is on Main Street in Mount Kisco, New York.
New York City: Monday, March 17th, 2008

The New York City New York St. Patrick's Day Parade is on Monday, March 17th, 2008 at 11am.

Patchouge: Sunday, March 30, 2008

The Patchouge, New York St. Patrick's Day Parade is on Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 2pm. According to theGreater Patchouge Chamber of Commerce there will be "bagpipe bands, floats and marchers." The parade is on Main Street in Patchouge. For more information please call 631-475-0121.
