Nailed on the cross and looking down
At loved ones mourning his fate,
Their eyes full of love and sadness
While others staring up full of hate.
At loved ones mourning his fate,
Their eyes full of love and sadness
While others staring up full of hate.
Such a contrast of strong emotions
Of all those gathered below.
Loved ones stunned by the cruelty
Of the hammer as it struck each blow.
Hanging there in searing agony
Following through on God's plan,
Suffering so that glory could follow
And the salvation of every man.

Great Easter poem.
Great poem
And you know that the Last Supper was the Passover seder which both Christians and Jews celebrate-- this year Passover week and Holy Week are the same I think. The blood of the Lamb redeems us!
Pattie, this is beautiful!
Good poem. Happy Easter!
