Easy Cheesy Olive Treats

1 cup self rising flour

1 stick margarine, room temperature

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

5 oz. jar stuffed olives

paprika

Drain olives on a paper towels. Mix all ingredients except olives and

paprika. Mix and blend together well, then form into about 40 small balls.

Next, work each ball of dough around a well drained olive. Place on ungreased

cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. When cool sprinkle

liberally with paprika. (These freeze well, if you would like to prepare them ahead.)

Place a party pick in each and serve on a holiday tray.

Ideas for Quick, Easy Holiday Appetizers

There are many ways to use cream cheese as the base of a spread to be served

with an assortment of crackers. My daughter uses everything with cream cheese

to prepare appetizers. A very simple, yet delicious appetizer is made by mixing a dash

of Worcestershire sauce and chopped green onions in softened cream cheese. Yet

another that she made recently was cream cheese, drained canned spinach and

pecans. It was a hit and disappeared in a hurry! Garlic powder, chipped beef and chopped

green onions is another wonderful combination when mixed with cream cheese. It is

also good in celery sticks. Enjoy!
