Easy Appetizers for a Christmas Party

Christmas is usually a time for Christmas giving, lots of partying and of course lots of eating. As a host you want your guest to enjoy their dining experience and to devour the food you would be serving on the table. These are some easy- to- prepare appetizers that you could prepare to enhance the dining experience of your guests.

1. Pickled cucumber

This is a practical and cheap appetizer. When eaten before a meal, it would enhance the taste buds thereby increasing the savory taste of the food.

Wash cucumber thoroughly and cut into strips. Soak in lime water for 24 hours. Don't forget to stir now and then.

2. Jalapena

This Mexican crispy, large chili pepper is a great appetizer. In the same way that it allows the taste buds to e extra sensitive to the tastes of food. It could be mixed with cheese.

3. Pizzas

This is quite common in parties. Pizzas have a great way of inducing one's appetite, because of its mixed taste. You could prepare a cheese and ham pizza, or pita breads and onion, or mushroom and cheese.

4. Tuna

This is a healthy appetizer for those with heart ailments and cardiovascular diseases. It contains good cholesterol and is therefore recommended. It is also tasty and savory.

You could mix the tuna with onions, mayonnaise with pepper and salt.

5. Deviled eggs

A delicious appetizer but not recommended for those with high cholesterol levels as it contains cholesterol.

You could add chopped onions, cheese and pepper to taste.

6. Fruits

Just like tuna this is a healthy appetizer as it contains essential nutrients, phytochemicals, antitoxins and lots of fibers. It is also good for the heart and for those who are on a diet.

Cut into cubes and serve with ice, or into tiny strips and eaten any condiment.

7. Cheese puffs

Cheez Whiz is a good brand. This is very easy to prepare and an inexpensive appetizer. Cut the cheese into long pieces. You can add eggs, flour, onions and pepper to make it tastier. Do not overcook and serve while still hot.

8. Roasted Garlic

This is a health food for those who have hypertension and many other diseases. The roasted garlic could be spread on bread and virgin oil and is a cheap and good appetizer.
