OK Simple trick 1 : Jazz up the store bought meat platter. This is not tough it just takes a few extra minutes in the store. Grab yourself a nice disposable cookie tray one of the big ones if they have them.
Next as your making your way back to the deli Counter to pick up your meat tray swing by the salad bar. A nice mixture of olives and your ready to head back to the Deli. When you get the tray home take it out of the store tray slide it on the cookie sheet and when you get to work pour the olives in a nice little mound next to the meats. Please be kind enough to drain them first. I was at a party where the olives where not drained first it was a mess.
Simple Trick number 2. A new twist on Cheese and crackers . This has to be one of my easiest holiday tricks and because I believe in credit where it's due I stole this one from my ow dear mother. My mother bought this herb cheese spread from the store a few different types of crackers ad some plastic knives for spreading and she was done. I'll admit I guarded those cheese crackers with my life and I probably ate most of them.
Simple trick 3 :Pepperoni. This may only be true if your Italian I don't know but at my annual Christmas party, usually held after Christmas but that's another article for another day, if the pepperoni isn't around I'm leaving my own party to get it.
Simple trick 4 : Candy. When you where a kid you know you always wanted something sweet before diner and our dastardly parents always said no. And we swore that as Adults we would get even ad eat sweets when ever we wanted to . Do it now . Some time on the bulk candy aisle or a few different kind of fun size bags and your done. Remember to grab a toss away container though because nothing looks more inviting then mounds of candy.
