Ingredients
1 c. long grain rice
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 can mushroom soup
1 1/2 c. water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Method
Scatter rice on bottom of greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Place chicken in single layer with skin side up on top of rice. Combine mushroom soup, water and onion soup mix, stirring well. Pour over chicken and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. If chicken starts to brown too much, cover with aluminum foil.
