Easy Before School BBQ Chicken.
My son has been making this for years and he's currently only 8 years old.
When you're ready for school:
- You get out your crock-pot.
- You place boneless skinless chicken breasts in the bottom, frozen is fine. - (You can use the kind with the bone in if you want to.)
- You get your favorite BBQ sauce - we love honey BBQ - and you pour it over the top.
- You turn the crock-pot on low and leave for school.
When you get in from school:
- You do your homework
- Play with your buddies for a few minutes if your mom says you can
- Set the table while mom fixes some side dishes
- Turn off the crock-pot and sit down to eat.
My son loves it when I mention it is time for him to cook dinner. He feels like such a helper when he gets to assist in the kitchen.
