Easy Children's Homemade Recipes

Peanut butter bars are one of a child's favorite snacks. This recipe is easy to prepare and can be fun for kids to help you with. These are the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

7 cups of powdered sugar
4 cups of graham crackers
2 cup of butter
3 cups of peanut butter
One 12 oz bag of chocolate chips
1/2 tsp oil

Mix together by hand powdered sugar, graham crackers, butter, and peanut butter. Before adding graham crackers, crush the graham crackers up. After you have mixed these ingredients up, put into 9x13 cake pan or glass dish. Push the mixture down into the pan or glass dish. Take your chocolate chips and put them into a microwave able bowl, add oil. Mix the chocolate chips and oil together and put into microwave. You want to melt the chocolate chips, so start with 1 minute at a time in the microwave stirring occasionally. When the chocolate chips have melted pour over peanut butter mixture. Then put in refrigerator for one hour, after one hour cut into bars. For a smaller batch cut ingredients in half. This is a snack that your kids will enjoy.

Another enjoyable recipe your children will be sure to enjoy is pudding pie. This is another easy recipe that your child will enjoy doing with you. This recipe also does not require baking. These are the ingredients you will need for this recipe.

One pack of chocolate pudding
One graham cracker piecrust
Whip cream (optional)

Follow the directions and mix the chocolate pudding. After you have mixed your chocolate pudding pour into graham cracker piecrust. Put the pie into the refrigerator and let it chill for one hour. After your pie has chilled in the refrigerator for one hour, you may top it with whip cream. This is an easy recipe and a good snack your child will enjoy.

You can also make pudding popcycles with your child. Follow the direction for the chocolate pudding. After you are done mixing your chocolate pudding just pour into popcycle holders and freeze. Using the juices from fruit that you have purchased can make a healthy popcycle. If you buy fruit that is in a can, after eating the fruit use the extra juice to make these popcycles. Just pour fruit juice into popcycle holders and freeze.

These are just a few ways to make a quick snack for your child without having to bake. Your child will have fun making these snacks, desserts with you. These recipes also do not take a lot of time to prepare.
