Who doesn't love chocolate fudge? The chocolate pudding used in this recipe resembles creamy truffle filling.

You'll get about 2 ½ pounds of chocolate fudge eggs that will be the hit of any Easter basket!

Ingredients You Need:

1 stick of butter (melted)

2 packages of chocolate pudding mix (not instant) 3 5/8 ounce size

½ cup milk

1 pound powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

8 ounces dipping chocolate

  • Combine butter, pudding mix and milk. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

  • Remove from heat and add the sugar and vanilla; stirring until smooth.

  • When the mixture is cool enough to handle, shape it into eggs and place on a wax paper lined cookie sheet or tray. Chill until firm.

  • Melt the chocolate. When eggs are cooled, dip them in the chocolate and place on wax paper. Let the eggs stand until the chocolate coating hardens.

Decorate with melted white chocolate or anyway you desire. Enjoy!

Prep Time:About 50 minutes.
