If you're looking for something fast and simple, try this delicious cookie brittle.
You'll need:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1 cup pecans
1 (6oz) package chocolate chips
What You'll do:
Melt butter, add sugar, vanilla, salt, and mix well. Stir in flour, pecans, and chips. Press onto ungreased pizza pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool and break into pieces. You can wrap them up in holiday colored cellophane and give as gifts!
Yields 15-16 servings.
