These beaded bracelets are a fun, easy and inexpensive craft to make. In fact most school aged children could easily perform this project. These pretty bracelets can be made in different colors and sizes. Women and girls of all ages love to wear jewelry and these creative beaded bracelets will soon become one of their favorite accessories. Because these beaded bracelets are so quick to make, be creative and see how many different styles you can design. Beads can be purchased in solid colors as well as having patterns and designs on them, so the potential to design unique and beautiful beaded bracelets are unlimited.

Materials: Size 2 safety pins (about 25 for a small bracelet, 30 for a larger bracelet), assorted beads of your choice (pony beads, glass beads, wood beads etc.), elastic bead cord, super glue

Note: These beaded bracelets can be made more narrow by using smaller safety pins, just be sure to use smaller beads as well.

Directions- Start by putting the beads on to each safety pin. Use your creativity, you can mix different size or shaped beads onto the pin or alternate shapes from one pin to the next pin. Experiment with different colors. You can even create beaded bracelets with a theme. Zebra prints, leopard prints, flowers, stripes are just a few suggestions you might consider.

Once you have finished beading all of the safety pins to your liking, lay them in a row according to how you want the finished bracelet to look. Now take the elastic cord and thread it through the bottom loop of each safety pin. Next take another length of elastic cord and thread it through the little hole that is in the head of each safety pin. Grasp the ends of the elastic cord and curve them around into the shape of the bracelet, and tie the ends of the elastic cords to each other. Then double knot the cord one more time. Add a small drop of super glue to the knot to help keep it secure. Clip off the ends of the elastic cord. Your beautiful beaded bracelet is finished and ready to wear.

If you like you can also create beaded chokers. Just follow the directions for the beaded bracelets, except instead of elastic cord use a thin jewelry cord and attach jewelry clasps to the ends. Now you can design and create your own matching beaded jewelry sets!

These beaded bracelets and choker necklaces make inexpensive and beautiful gifts for giving to the special ladies in your life. You can help your child create a special set just for Grandma!
