Twisted Buns With Ribbon And Spikes
This style is great for short to long hair. Use a rattail comb and section the hair from one side of the ear to the other like a halo. Once you get to the bottom of ear on right side gather the hair tightly and place into a ponytail, but make sure to bring the pony up to the top of head is possible. Repeat on other side.
Now carefully wrap the hair around into a bun. Secure with bobby pin. Then pull out a long piece of hair from the secured bun, comb it straight up and spray with hairspray. Slightly tease the strand and repeat spray procedure again.
Make another severe parting in back and repeat method above. Followed by two more sections with buns.
Use any color ribbon and wrap it around the base of the buns. You can use one color or many colors. To be more crazy, buy tiny baby barrettes and clip them onto the spikes. Then spray.
Crazy Ponytails
Place numerous small ponytails into the hair and secure them with tiny rubber bands. Make sure in the front by the bang you stick those ponies coming straight out. Then criss cross some of the ponytails and secure with bobby pins. Now create a theme. Do you love candy? Then go with a candy theme, rock theme stick spikes in the hair, metal chains, and you can even place fake clip on extensions in bright bold colors. Book theme use book markers, pencils, tape, and even pieces of brown bags. The ideas here are endless.
Rainbow Ponytails
This idea can be so much, because you can do one, two, three, or various ponytails on the head. They can be straight, crooked or uneven. The wackier the better for crazy hair day.
Once you have created your ponytails, you will need different color rubber bands. Make sure you have at least 4-6 different shades.
Place the first color at the base of the base of the pony. Then after every half inch to inch use another. The amount of bands might vary due to the length of the hair. Leave the ponytails down the way they are, tie them together, criss cross a few, stick some straight up, or wrap them into a creative idea of yours.
Ponytail Mohawk
Place the first section of hair on top into ponytail. Then move down a few inches and repeat. Do 2 more until you reach the nape of the neck. Start at the roots of the ponytail and tease the hair straight up. Slightly backcomb and spray. Do this to all of them. Then grad a dryer, spray real good hold straight up, and dry. Wrap something crazy around the hair.

Do you think you can come over and do my hair?? LOL... :o)
My kids' school just had crazy hair day over a week ago, but I will keep this info for next one!
We never had this when I went to school, sounds like a ball!
We had last month crazy week in our local school:) Thanks for sharing great tips and ideas!
Love these ideas.
Crazy hair day was a lot of fun with my daughter. My youngest has really straight hair, I tried doing something with it this year but the weight of his hair just pulled everything out. I have heard you can dye hair temporarily using Jello, you probably know how to do that.
These are too darn cute! I love your ideas! Thanks!
Excellent job; thanks for sharing ♥ - clever idea for a crazy day :)
