Routines like running or going to the gym every single day can become boring and discouraging. I know this because those were my routines. I used to try to run every single day and go to the gym but that didn't last more than a month. I soon became very bored and discouraged. One day I try playing tennis and I never stop playing since then. Playing tennis keep me in great shape but it is so fun and addicting that I haven't given up on it for three years now. I also go swimming every chance I get for a workout too. The trick of sticking with a workout routine is by playing a sport or doing an activity that is fun and hard to give up on.
Instead of the regular boring routine you can replace it with something fun and easy but will give you the same amount of exercise. You will first make a list of the activity or sport or hobby that you like to do. Next you should start doing that every single day instead of the old routine.

Tennis
Swimming
bicycling
walking your dog
playing soccer with your kids
playing basketball
Playing baseball
Playing racquetball
Playing volleyball
Ice skating
Rollerblade
Fetch with your dog
Run around with your dog
Exercise with your dog
Jump rope
Go dancing
Climb mountain
Walking
golfing
dance class
Any of these activities can be fun and easy and gives you a good workout. You should find what you like and stick to it. Doing these fun activities will last longer than you going on yo yo diets and boring sessions at the gym.
