Easy Hair Tips and Tricks to Eliminate Flyaways, Flat Hair and Frizz

A fast and easy hair fix is a new product called Bumpits. Bumpits are available in the beauty section of most drug stores and grocery stores such as CVS, Walgreen's and Winn-Dixie. You part a section of your hair just behind your bangs and place the Bumpit behind the hair and as close to the roots as possible. The package of Bumpits come in 3 sizes; a small clip for half ponytails or other updo hairstyles, a medium clip and a larger volume clip which raises the hair high enough for it to remind me of the '70s.

I am a TRESemme junkie. I use TRESemme's Anti-Breakage shampoo and conditioner every time I wash my hair. It never weighs my hair down and it never makes your head or hair feel greasy like some moisturizing products. To gain control over any kind of flyaway I currently use TRESemme mega hold hairspray. It really keeps my hair in place for most of the day in the hot and humid Florida humidity.

For those of us that hair that lacks luster and shine, TRESemme makes a wonderful product called Shine Spray. Also available at most grocery stores, drug stores or beauty supply stores this product costs less than $6 to get youthful and shiny hair.

TRESemme or John Frieda's frizz control spray are both excellent treatments for hair that is frizzy and out of control. These products are perfect for curly hair, straight hair, long hair or short hairstyles.

A little hair gel goes a long way. I use L'oreal Mega Hold hair gel to keep any remaining frizz or flyaways under control. The only downfall of hair gel is that if you do not wash your hair that night and try to brush your hair there will be lots of massive white flakes. The hair gel flakes are nearly impossible to remove by hand, at this point the only remedy is to wash your hair with a cleansing or clarifying shampoo.

If you prefer to be natural and do not care to use chemicals in your hair, there is a way to give body and fullness to flat or fine hair. Simply flip your head over so that you are looking at the floor and push all of your hair forward. Add a bit of water to the hair at the roots and then turn a hair dryer on low and blow dry as you tousle the hair with your fingers to remove any tangles.
