Open the box of ornaments, set the box aside, you will need it, and remove the tops with the hook in it. I used burgundy and silver metallic paint for my two colors, but again, use the ones you like. Use the eyedropper to drip paint into the opening of the ornament. It is important that you use as little paint as possible, if you use too much, the paint will blend together too much and you will lose the swirl effects. Drip a little burgundy paint in and turn the ornament so that the paint rolls around on the inside of the ornament. Drip a bit of the silver in and turn the ornament a few more times. Be sure to coat the entire inside of the ornament. If the coating is too thin, add a little bit more paint. When you have coated the inside, turn it upside down in the box to let extra paint drip out. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes. Flip them over and leave over night to dry.
While they dry, you can make the decorative top for the ornament. Make a pretty bow, or bunch berries and leaves together. Use the wire to help you attach your items together.
When your ornaments are dry, use your glue gun to glue the top with the hanger on it onto your ornament, so that your decorative top doesn't pull off the ornament. Glue your decorative bow or topper to the top of the ornament near the hanger. Set these aside to dry again, maybe 10 minutes. You're done!
Wrap your ornaments carefully in a box with pretty tissue if you're giving them as a gift, or make yourself some eggnog, put on some holiday music and hang them up on your tree!
