You will need:
Bacon
Cooked shrimp
Tooth picks
Lemon juice
Cocktail sauce
You will have to estimate how many shrimp to get and how many packs of bacon you will need for them. My husband and I love these so we will get one package of bacon and a bag of already cooked shrimp or even one of the big trays. Sometimes we can get the big trays which sell for cheaper than those sold in the bags.
Take some already cooked shrimp to make it even easier for you and rinse them off with some cold water and lay out on a paper towel. You can season the shrimp with some lemon juice hold off on any salt because the bacon will make up for that.
Get your bacon out of the package and cut it in half so when you pull a strip you end up with two (cut them the vertically up and down NOT ACROSS!)
Take one shrimp and one piece of bacon and wrap the bacon around the shrimp and secure it with a tooth pick, do this until you have made enough for every guest to have AT LEAST 5! They will love them so you may need to make more than that depending on how many guests you plan on having. Put them on a pan that can drain the fat as they cook, cook them at 350 degrees until the bacon is done or crispy. You can lay these out on a paper towel to drain out some more of the fat as well. To present these lay them out a a serving plate with some cocktail sauce.
Around my house we mix things up my husband was born in Mexico so he likes to add in his favorites which I am becoming better when it comes to making them.
Easy quesadillas
You will need:
Chicken Quesadillas
Cheap chicken breasts
Seasonings for the chicken (which ever you prefer)
Monetary Jack Cheese
Cheddar Cheese
Flour or Corn tortillas which ever you prefer or MIX it up a bit
First get the chicken going on the skillet I like to fry mine a little in some Mrs. Dash seasoning original with just a little butter or any other kind of oil you have get it on the skillet and cook it on medium heat until cooked all the way I usually cook mine too long but that is me.
Once the chicken is cooked all the way pull it apart with a fork into little shreds you may have to wait until the cool off so while you are waiting let's move on
Start grating the cheese if you bought it already grated good for you if not grate it!
After the chicken is cooled down and shredded you are ready to put these quesadillas together. Grab a tortilla and fill it with your cheese, do not put too much cheese or it will run all over. On top of the cheese, sprinkle a little bit of the shredded chicken on there again not too much.
Put another tortilla on top of the chicken you can now put that on the skillet to heat up for a few minutes and to melt the cheese the skillet should be on medium to medium high heat if they start to burn before the cheese is heated turn the oven down some.
You can make as many as you need to depending on how many guests you will have you can spread them out on a plain plate and garnish with cilantro and a jalapeƱo.
You can grab some salsa from the store or some guacamole already made or use this recipe for guacamole.
You will need:
Jalapenos about three
Cilantro
Avocados about 4-5
Lime or lime juice about a teaspoon
Salt to taste
Blender to mix
Wash off your jalapenos and put one into the blender. Rinse off your cilantro and pull off enough to cover about half of the palm of your hand and throw that into the blender get the skin off the avocado and add two into the blender throw a pinch of salt and about a half a teaspoon of lime juice, and a squirt of water and blend until creamy.
You can really make this your own by adding something else like some mango juice instead to make it more sweet than spicy.
You can make more if you need to with the extra ingredients. Present it next to the quesadillas in a small sauce bowl.
