Vinyl Borders

Vinyl is not only very durable, it's washable. This makes the choice of vinyl borders especially suitable for the bedrooms of your children, hallways and kitchens. The grease and smoke that is produced by the kitchen chores can be easily cleaned from vinyl borders. Stenciled Borders
Get yourself a stencil at the paint, hardware or decorating store and use paint to create a hand-drawn border effect on both walls and floors. If you cannot find a pre-made stencil design that really gets your decorating motor humming, you can create one yourself. Find an image you want to create as stencil and print it out and then cut out the design for use. You can also purchase stenciling kits at craft stores to help you out with your desire for stenciled borders.

Stamped Borders
Stamped borders are similar to stenciled borders except that you use a rubber stamp to apply the design rather than painting through a stencil. Stamps are available at art supply and craft stores, but you can also make your own by transferring your design onto a large rubber eraser.
