Easy Home Remedy for Dry, Chapped Hands and Feet

Quick, Inexpensive, and Easy to Make Home Remedy for Winter Chapped Hands and Feet

Wendy Dawn
As winter sets in and we combat the cold, there is another battle that wages daily, the battle against dry, winter cracked hands and feet.

Recently I received a simple recipe to make a rich, clean moisturizing lotion that heals dry hands and even dry, chapped feet. It came from a friend's mom, so I have labeled it very simply Mom's No-Fail Winter Moisturizer.

This simple skin care solution can be used year-round, but it especially effective in the winter months when battling dry skin becomes an everyday chore.

Try the following simple recipe to smooth out rough cracked feet and moisturize dry hands.

How to Make Mom's No-Fail Winter Moisturizer for hands and feet -

Ingredients needed for homemade hand and foot moisturizer:

Two 15 oz. bottles of baby lotion.

Two 8 oz. containers of vitamin E.

One 7.5 oz jar of Vaseline.

Blend all of the ingredients well. You will have a supply of hand and foot lotion that will last throughout the winter. If you want to make less, cut the ingredient list in half. This does make a large quantity of lotion.

If you like to give homemade Christmas gifts find empty jars and make your own labels for Mom's No-Fail Winter Moisturizer.
