That Everyone Will Enjoy

When you're on a budget homemade Christmas gifts are always very forgiving of what little money you have. This Christmas, surprise your gift recipients with homemade books. Now, not everyone loves to read, that's why there are homemade books on this list that will work for any gift recipient such as scrapbooks and cookbooks. Regardless of which homemade book you choose to give, they are all very easy to make.

Cookbook: A cookbook makes the perfect gift for those who like to cook and a homemade cookbook is the perfect homemade Christmas gift for those who want all of your great recipes. These cookbooks are so easy to make and you can make these homemade gifts in a couple different ways. You can either write out all the recipes by hand, placing them in a nice notebook. Or you can type up all of your recipes, then print them out and place them into a nice binder. If you want to make this homemade book even more special, add pictures of the recipes.

Scrapbook: Everyone loves to have pictures of their family and friends. This Christmas, surprise your gift recipient with a nice scrapbook. Presenting someone with a scrapbook filled with Christmas photos from Christmases of the past makes such a wonderful Christmas gift. There are other ways you could make this homemade book. One fun way to make this gift is to fill the book with pictures of that person's favorite celebrity. You can easily find pictures of celebrities online. Simply print out these photos, cut the photos out, and then place them in the scrapbook. Both ways make wonderful Christmas gifts.

Book of Quotes: I and my boyfriend's first Christmas together included one of these books. He had told me he didn't want me to spend any money on him, so I got creative. I found a nice notebook and filled it will several things, including quotes that reminded me of him. Needless to say, he loved that gift. You can make this homemade book for anyone. Simply go online and find quotes that match the relationship you have with that person. I suggest putting these quotes into a really nice notebook and using different colored gel pens to make this Christmas gift even more special.

Book of Poetry: In that homemade book that I gave to my boyfriend, I also included poetry. There were poems that I had pulled from a book of love poems and there were poems that I had written myself. Filling a homemade book with several poems that remind you of someone is a Christmas gift that they will treasure forever. Try to at least write one poem yourself, because that will mean so much more.

Classics: For those gift recipients, who love to read, you can make them a book filled with classics. This is so easy to do because you can find these books for free online. There are several websites that are filled classic novels. You can find everything from Little Women to Frankenstein, all for free. This will, of course, require lots of paper and a very large binder. Simply pick out three novels that you think the person would enjoy and print them out. After you have printed them out, punch holes into the paper, and place them into the binder. This is such an easy homemade Christmas gift that people will honestly love.

Brandi - What a nice thing to do. I would have panicked had I not know how to come when I moved to NC with my sweetie. But, he knows how to cook so we'd been okay :)

Joanna, yeah there are lots of children's classics, like the Grimm Fairy Tales. Homemade cookbooks are so fun to make. And that's a great idea to share your short stories too. Thanks for the idea.

Amy! I had no idea you can print out whole book for free. What a great idea. I'm going to do that right now. Do they have children's classic? Also, I had never heard of a homemade cookbook. What an even more excellent idea. I would also reccommend to give a homemade book of your very best short stories to the people you love. That's cool too. Great article. Oh, by the way thanks for commenting and reading my articles. Bye
