We all remember the movie Swamp Thing--right? What better 80's Halloween costume for couples is there? Start with a black pair of pants and a black shirt for the Swamp Thing portion of this couples Halloween costume. Using a needle and thread, hand stitch foliage onto the entire outfit. Mosses, leaves, and various other items make a great addition to the costume. Make sure that you stitch the foliage all around to completely cover the entire costume. This is one of my favorite couples Halloween costumes to date. The woman dresses up in really classy and fancy clothes with beautiful hair and makeup and the many dresses the part of the Tramp. To dress as the tramp he should wear junky old clothes, maybe even an old ragged and torn suit with grungy looking hair and dirt under his nails. The Lady is of course the glamorous type and the Tramp is trashy and almost hobo or bum looking. This couples Halloween costume is especially great for the couples in which the woman likes to dress up and the man isn't so fond of the occasion!

Easy Homemade Halloween Costumes for Couples: Cardiac Arrest

Cardiac Arrest is one of my all time favorite couples Halloween costumes. The woman dresses up in a red dress that is adorned with tubing that makes it look like the ventricles of the heart. Anything to create a heart costume for this easy homemade Halloween costume will do. For that matter, you could always use cardboard to cut out a large heart shape and velcro it to the red dress. For the man, a cop uniform with some handcuffs will do. Don't have a cop uniform floating around? Try a pair of dark blue or dark green slacks with a matching button up shirt. Create officer emblems and velcro them onto the outfit. The handcuffs should be attached to the "heart" for a true cardiac arrest couples Halloween costume.
