Easy Homemade Playhouse Disney Halloween Costumes for Boys

Tara Van Ness
Disney characters are wildly popular, and withPlayhouse Disney adding new characters to its repertoire every season, there are a lot ofPlayhouse Disney character Halloween costumes you can make yourself. Here are a few ideas.

Handy Manny

Handy Manny is a very popular character on Playhouse Disney, who has a show of the same name. He is a Latino handyman who owns Handy Manny's Repair Shop. His tag phrase is, "You break it, we'll fix it!" That 70's Show's Fez, Wilmer Vilderama lends his voice to the role. To make the Handy Manny costume is simple. He wears a green ringer t-shirt, with what appears to be a white undershirt. He also wears jeans, and Timberland style work boots. Handy Manny usually has a pencil behind his ear, and wears a red and white hat, trucker-style or baseball hat style. Don't forget Handy Manny's Tools. They do sell Handy Manny Tool Boxes, which include, Dusty, Rusty, Stretch, Pat, Turner, and Philippe. However, if you don't want to buy that, you could always get a little wooden craft box with a handle from Michaels and paint it red and add some tools. Don't forget a tool belt as well for your little Handy Manny!

Special Agent Oso

He's Special Agent Oso, and he is on a top secret mission to help kids! Special agent Oso is a panda bear so dress your child in black and white for this easy Halloween costume. Paint their face like a panda, with circles around the eyes and such. Although, the circles around Oso's eyes are green, so keep that in mind. Special agent Oso wears a vest, which can be picked up at a secondhand store. You can put his paw print on it easily with blye felt. He has green fur on his hands, so you can get green gloves for that. Oso has a jet pack that helps him get around, which can be easily made by attaching painted paper towel tubes to a regular backpack Don't forget the Special Agent Oso Digi Medals and his special super secret agent watch (which can be made by modifying a thrift store watch).

Imagination Movers

This would be a really cute sibling kid's costume or family Halloween costume. The Imagination Movers are a rocking group of four guys, Mover Rich, Mover Dave, Mover Smitty, and Mover Scott, who think of ideas to help people in their warehouse. All you need, is a one piece jumpsuit. You could even find a white painter's jumpsuit and dye it blue with RIT dye. The Imagination Movers wear red shirts under their jumpsuits and white name tags. Their unique qualities are that Mover Rich has scribble sticks (you could use glow sticks attacked to drumsticks). Mover Scott has wobble goggles (you can use swimming goggles on your child's head), Mover Dave has a backward ball cap, and Mover Smitty has a cowboy hat. Don't forget their lovable mouse, warehouse mouse! A stuffed mouse would be cute.

These are only three of the easy Halloween costumes you can make for your little boys this Halloween if they love Playhouse Disney. They are very popular male Playhouse Disney characters, and the costumes are simple to make.

Happy Halloween!

I made a Mover Dave costume last year. I used a NASA blue astronaut jumpsuit, removed the patches, printed my own Imagination Movers patches, and glued them on.

Special Agent Oso is actually yellow and white (with those green gloves you mentioned).

I wish they made Special Agent Oso costumes. My baby LOVES Oso, and I was hoping to find a Special Agent Oso costume

Anyone know where I can find a white painters jumpsuit for a child?

Although special agent Oso is assumed to be a panda bear%252C he is NOT black and white. He is actually gold and white. Dressing your kid in black and white would not be true to Oso%252C and should you have a detail-oriented and particular kid %2528as many preschoolers are%2529%252C may dissapoint him. Rather%252C an easy homemade costume that actually looks like Oso could use gold footed pajamas with a white circular patch sewn on the tummy. Thes rest of your information is accurate%252C and would complete the costume.
