Floral Heart Valentine's Day Centerpiece (see an image here)

Making a floral heart centerpiece is probably one of the easiest centerpieces to make. It is low to the table so it does not block the view of anyone sitting at the table. Also, the center is hollow so you can use the space to put candles or even food.

Start by finding lots of matching vases. How many you need depends on the size of your heart. You can go the cheap route and use little paper cups.

Fill each vase with a tiny bouquet of flowers. You can use red, pink, white or a mixture of those colors. You can buy little fake flowers at your local craft store or you can use real flowers. Then simply arrange the flower filled vases in the shape of a heart on your table.

Toilet Paper Roll Bouquet Valentine's Day Centerpiece (see an image here)

You might think toilet paper roll crafts are just for kids, but this toilet paper roll craft makes a very nice centerpiece that any adult would be proud to make and display. Of course, the kids are allowed to help, too!

Start by covering an empty toilet paper roll (or paper towel roll cut to size) with any Valentine's themed paper or plain pink or red paper. Then stick a piece of floral foam into the roll.

Cut out hearts from red or pink construction paper or card stock. Then cut more hearts out of various Valentine's Day print paper. Make those hearts a bit smaller than the first hearts. Glue the colorful hearts on each side of the first heart cut out, inserting a wooden skewer between the hearts while you glue. Stick the skewers in the floral foam to create your floral display.

Cup of Candy Valentine's Day Centerpiece (see an image here)

A Cup of Candy display can be used as a centerpiece or as individual place settings. To use as place settings, just make smaller versions using clear votive candle holders or other clear glass containers.

Start by filling any clear glass vase, parfait dish, or drinking glass with colorful Valentine's Day candy like candy hearts or cinnamon hearts. Then make a bouquet on the top of the display with salt water taffy or other soft candy. To hold the bouquet in place, stick a toothpick into each soft candy. For taller displays, you can use wooden skewers.
