The law of attraction may seem like a simple idea, we all know that what you try to attract in this life, you usually receive. For instance when a women dresses in her most attractive outfit to attract the attention of the opposite sex. However, the law of attraction actually can go deeper and be more far reaching than you may have thought.

There is a unique unity flow to the solar system that is mimicked by the smallest substances on this planet. The way in which the planets behave is eerily similar to the movements and relationship of atomic particles. In simpler terms, looking through a microscope at particles and nuclei looks a lot like what you would see through a telescope.

What does all this mean to you and how does that apply to the law of attraction? The interconnectedness of your universe point to a powerful relationship between your thoughts, dreams, and actions. What you think and believe can have a direct impact on the world around you. This was a common belief throughout history but today it is chalked up to ancient mysticism for the most part.

The idea that what you focus on mentally could affect the outside world is nonsense to some. Those facts notwithstanding, many studies have been done by reputable scientists and doctors. It has been shown that meditation and prayer can indeed have a distinct impact on disease, weather, crime rates, and much more.

Doctor John Haeglin has participated in many such studies. In 1994, a study of this nature resulted in a 25% reduction in crime for Washington DC! Not only is that amazing proof of the law of attraction it was even more amazing that the results were predicted.

This is the law of attraction at work from one group of people affecting a large metropolitan area. What are the possibilities for you to focus such a powerful idea on your own life?

Still need convincing that the law of attraction is relevant for your life? Look around your life at the people in it. Do you have a friend or co-worker is sunny and cheerful most of the time? How do you feel when you are in their presence? You immediately feel happier and more at ease? That is another's actions and beliefs effecting your emotions.

You may still feel like the law of attraction is something hokey or weird. In fact, you may just have written it off completely. For those who have done this here is a three-step challenge.

1) Be happy with your current circumstances. - Spend a few minutes each day recalling the things in your life you have to be thankful for. Focus on them and really appreciate at least one thing in your life.

2) Receive something you want- Think about something you really want, start small. Maybe you need an extra $100 right now. Concentrate on how it would look in your hand and feel to you. Make it so real that you actually feel thankful for it.

3) Relax and Trust- You have called images and feelings forth now you must relax and trust that this is a reality that simply has not happened yet. Look at it as a foregone conclusion that you will receive whatever it is.

This exercise is a simple one to show you that the law of attraction is not only real but it is powerful. All you must do is bring your feelings and thoughts into alignment with the process. One final tip about operating in the law of attraction, when you reach tip three above, call forth feeling. When you got to work every day, you know that on payday, you will receive a check; this same certainty is what you will need for the final step of the challenge.
