2 cups Miniature Marshmallows
Directions for Easy Marshmallow Fudge Recipe
1
Add half the butter and the sweetened condensed milk to a double boiler and stir over low heat until the butter melts. Add the chocolate chips and keep stirring until the chocolate melts and the fudge has a smooth consistency. Stir in the vanilla and salt and remove from the stove.2
Lightly grease a 9-inch baking dish or cover with aluminum foil. Carefully pour the fudge mixture into the baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.3
Pour the rest of the butter and the marshmallows into a second pan. Stir the mixture and keep the heat on low, making sure the marshmallows do not burn.4
Sprinkle the chopped nuts across the top of the still-warm fudge and pour the melted marshmallow mixture over the top. Run a knife or fork through the marshmallow, swirling and mixing it into the fudge.5
Place the marshmallow fudge in a cool space or the refrigerator until it chills and sets. Run a sharp knife through the fudge, cutting it into smaller pieces.Tip
Marshmallow creme works equally well, but melt the creme just slightly on the stove before adding to the fudge. Omit the chopped nuts if you want a smoother consistency. You can use any type of nuts you want for this fudge recipe.
