For most of us this year saving money is our biggest challenge. Christmas Eve appetizers have never tasted so good. Here are a few simple recipes that are simply affordable and even more simple to prepare for your Christmas Eve gathering!

No Bake Cheese Cake

Christmas has never been easier!

1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheeses

1/3 cup white sugar

1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping , thawed

1 (9 inch) prepared gram cracker crust (any flavor)

In large bowl beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in whipped topping.

Spoon into prepared gram cracker crust. Refrigerate for 3 hours.

*I enjoy topping this off by spooning my favorite canned fruit on top, red strawberries would look beautiful for any Christmas Eve gathering!

Christmas Honey BBQ Wings

Be sure to use festive holiday napkins as this appetizer is finger licken' good!

2-1/2 lbs. Uncooked chicken wing sections

½ cup barbecue sauce

½ cup honey

½ cup soy sauce

Place chicken on greased 13 x 9 x 2- inch baking dish

Combine BBQ sauce, honey and soy sauce; pour over wings.

Bake uncovered at 350' F for an hour or until chicken juices run clear.

Place on serving platter, enjoy!

Bacon-Cheddar Deviled Eggs

We know "egg-zactly" what Santa likes to eat, so be sure to save one or two of these for him!

12 hard boiled eggs

½ cup mayonnaise

4 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled (microwave bacon works great!)

2 tablespoons finely shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon finely shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon honey mustard

¼ teaspoon pepper

Slice eggs in half lengthwise, remove yolks, and set aside.

In small bowl, mash yolks. Stir in the mayonnaise, bacon, cheese, mustard and pepper.

Stuff into egg whites.

Refrigerate until ready to serve.

*For a nice Christmas Eve theme, sprinkle a pinch of red paprika over the finished egg's to give a bit of beautiful color!
