Tousled, Beachy Waves
1. Begin the night before and start with damp hair. Spray styling spray all over your hair and comb it through well.
2. If you have very curly hair, apply a straightening balm or spray all over.
3. Spritz all over with a sea salt spray, scrunching as you spray.
4. Divide your hair into two sections: a top half and a bottom half. Split the top half into three parts and braid each section. Secure loosely with an elastic or string. Repeat with the bottom half. You should have 6 braids now.
5. Leave the braids in your hair for the night. If you have very long and very thick hair, you may have to start in the evening, rather than right before bed, to give your hair as much time to dry as possible.
6. In the morning, once your hair is completely dry, remove all of the hair ties. Spritz a little hairspray on your hands and then comb your fingers through your hair a little to encourage some separation. Avoid over combing your hair.
Messy and Textured Bed Head
1. Start the night before with damp hair. Spray all over with a styling spray and comb it through well.
2. Work a small amount of gel, wax, or pomade through random segments of your hair.
3. Sleep on it.
4. When you wake up, run your fingers through your hair and tousle it. If there's a weird kink in your hair, wet the portion with a comb and use a tiny bit of gel, wax, or pomade to fix the kink.
Soft, Smooth, and Sleek
1. Start with thoroughly towel dried hair that's still damp. Spray all over with a styling spray. Comb it through well. Squeeze hair of any excess water with a towel.
2. Work a small amount of volumizing mousse through your hair, focusing on the roots. Comb your hair upwards or flip your head upside down while working it through.
3. Once your hair is completely dry, spray all over with a shine hairspray. Very gently brush down any frizz or flyaways.
