This is one dish in the Philippines that is loved by many Filipinos. It is a bit like stew to us here in the United States. Filipinos will prepare and serve this dish on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and baptisms. This is a great dish for anyone and everyone. It's quite delicious. So now, here is the recipe for my personal favorite, Menudo!

These are the ingredients that you need to have and how they should be prepared prior to cooking.

3 cloves of garlic that is have chopped up
1 large onion that is sliced up into small pieces
2 tbsp of olive oil
9 oz of pork that is cut into small cubes
2 medium potatoes that is cut also into small cubes
1 large carrot that is sliced up
2 medium tomatoes that is sliced up
1 tsp of salt
3 oz of liver spread
4 oz of ketchup
2 red bell peppers that is sliced into pieces where it is 2 to 3 inches long
½ cup of water

Now that you have all your ingredients ready and prepared, let us go into the actual cooking.

1. Set the stove to a medium setting. Get a pan and preheat it for a couple of minutes.
2. After the pan has been heated up, add in the 2 tbsp of olive oil to it and wait for another couple of minutes.
3. When you have done that, add in the chopped garlic and saute it. You will know it is finished when it turns a golden brown color.
4. Next you will want to add in the sliced onions to the pan. Saute the onions with the garlic that is already in the pan. Do this for a couple of minutes.
5. After you have finished doing that, add in the sliced tomatoes and saute that for a few minutes.
6. Next you will want to add in the pork with the other ingredients and saute that as well for a couple of minutes.
7. After the pork has been, sautéed, put in the ½ cup of water, potatoes, red bell peppers and the carrots. Let everything simmer for about 15 minutes or so while you are constantly stirring all the ingredients.
8. When your 15 minutes have finished, put in the 3 oz of liver spread, 1 tsp of salt and the 4 oz of ketchup.

A great meal that moms can cook for their entire family. Enjoy your dish! It's one of my favorites!
