Faux Ribbon Candy
Fold a red or red and white striped ribbon into loops, resembling ribbon candy. Thread a needle through one layer and poke it through the ribbon. Slide a green bead onto the thread next. Poke through the next layer of ribbon. Continue alternating ribbon layers and beads until you reach the end. Add more beads at the top and tie off the thread in a small loop, big enough for an ornament hook.

Simple Wood Bead Ribbons
Paint some small wooden beads red and let dry. Use a long strip of wide green ribbon to thread through the beads. Space out the beads evenly, one by one.
