These sauces and marinades are easy to make and taste absolutely great! You will love these recipes for a quick and easy fix to any bland food!

Ham Glaze
1 cup of light or dark corn syrup
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons of prepared mustard
Dash of ground ginger
Dash of ground cloves

In a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for five minutes, stirring it constantly. Brush glaze on ham frequently during the last thirty minutes of baking

Smoky-Sweet BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1/3 cup brown mustard
1/3 cup light molasses
1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon of liquid smoke or hickory salt

Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Mix until it is well blended. Brush sauce on chicken or ribs during the last fifteen minutes of grilling.

Chili Marinade
1/4 cup Steak Sauce (I use A.1.)
1/4 cup chili sauce

In a small non-metal bowl, combine both ingredients. Use the marinade on beef or pork and let it marinate for about an hour in the refrigerator.

Tarter Sauce
1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise
2 tablespoons of sweet picle relish
1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Combing the ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. Refrigerate tarter sauce until it is ready to be served.

Fajita Marinade
1/2 cup lime juice
1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
1 tablespoon of minced garlic
2 teaspoons of ground cumin
2 teaspoons of black pepper

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix them well. Use to marinate fajita meat or chicken for one hour in the refrigerator.

Strawberry Sauce
1 pint of strawberries, hulled
2 to 3 tablespoons of sugar
1 tablespoon strawberry flavored liquer (this is optional)

Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Serve this great sauce on pancakes or waffles.
