Easy Sexy Halloween Costumes for the Ladies

Some adults plan their Halloween costumes months in advance of Halloween and spend a ghoulish amount for their entire disguise. Many of those Halloween costumes are expensive and can scare your eyeballs out of their sockets! But if you are more of a girly-girl , want something that is slightly sexy and can be put together fairly quickly and cheaply, following are some basic ideas to choose from. Halloween Cowgirl - The outfit would consist of a pair of low-rise jeans, button up flannel blouse that is tied above the navel or under the bust, unbuttoned to show a little cleavage, with a pair of boots and a western hat. If you don't have all the pieces, borrow or check the second hand stores. Call your cowboy boyfriend and borrow a rodeo buckle and a lasso!

Halloween Daisy Mae - Pull on a pair of Daisy dukes (cut-off jeans that are frayed) If you don't have a pair, cut the legs of an old pair of jeans and wash several times to get the fray you want. For the top, wear a blouse that can be worn to bare the shoulders or a sleeveless blouse in gingham or polka dots that either hits above the midriff or can be tied there. Go barefoot and with your hair in pig-tails tied with gingham ties. Find a piece of straw to chew on!

Halloween Hooter's Waitress - Wear a short pair of athletic shorts over nylons, and a tight t-shirt from which the sleeves and neck have been cut away to a more revealing cut. Design the front of the shirt to resemble the Hooter's chain Owl and the words "Hooters". Add a fanny pack and athletic shoes. If you want to be authentic, you can buy the tank ($24.95) and athletic shorts ($9.95) from the Hooter's restaurant chain online. If you want to tie in a scary theme, you could be a "dead" Hooter's Waitress by adding "blood" all over the outfit, or a humorous twist might be to have a "flat" on one breast and enlarge the other.

Halloween Nasty Nurse - Hit the local Goodwill for scrubs, but only buy a large top. Pair it with fishnet stockings, heels and a nurse hat. Smear your eye makeup and lipstick and wear a long blond wig.. Write on the shirt in black felt pen the name of a male doctor. On the back of the shirt pin a note that says, "You should see what the doctor's wearing".

Halloween Workout Elvira - You'll need a long black wig if your hair isn't such. Tease it up on the top and line your eyes dramatically, carrying the liner to wing out from the corners of your eyes. Wear your Victoria's Secret plunge bra, a tight, black stretch workout outfit with a low neckline and leggings, and black high heels. Around the neck wear a large bulky cross and gaudy skeleton earrings. A pair of fangs will set you apart from the Aerobics instructor at the gym.

Halloween Slumber Party Girl - If you have a group of girlfriends to join you, this costume will be more fun. The outfit is simply baby doll PJs and fuzzy slippers. Fix your hair in a pony tail or pig tails with big bows, and dot freckles across your nose with an eyebrow pencil. Carry a teddy bear or a blanket and you're all set!

Halloween Gypsy or Belly Dancer - To get the gypsy look, you'll need a full gathered skirt around which you'll tie a contrasting colorful scarf across the butt area, knotting it in the front. For the blouse, you could wear a peasant blouse dropped off the shoulders, and tied at the waist or under the bust, or a sheer tight blouse with a fancy bra on top of it to which you've sewn or glued sequins or tassels. You'll want a few yards of a sheer or shiny fabric that is sewn to two bracelets that you'll wear on each wrist. A pair of sandals that tie up the legs, a headband or scarf around the head and you are ready to sing the song Cher made a hit!

Halloween Cat or Tiger - Find a body suit, leggings, high heels and those animal ears you can buy at the Party Stores, and you're good to go.

Mafia "Mobsta" - You can "don" a pair of pin stripe pants, black vest without a blouse, fedora and black high heels; or wear a long pin stripe jacket and white stockings with the hat and heels. Carry a play gun on your hip, in your cleavage, or in your hair.

Sexy Celeb Halloween Costumes - This is your chance to becoma a Lady Gaga, Madonna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry or Cher look-alike. Pull out a People magazine and copy their most shocking look by adapting items from your closet or Goodwill!
