Everyone dreams of owning their own business. That ability to trek off on your own, and be your own boss. There are possibilities around you every day to start a business. Wherever there is a need, there is a business ready to be started. Here are three businesses that anyone can start and run by themselves right now.

Window washer

When people think of a window washer they immediately think of the large skyscrapers of the big city. However, every strip mall in the nation, and ever store front needs someone to wash their exterior windows. Often times the employees or the owners wash the windows, but this takes them away from the day-to-day business activities of the store. In fact, just by washing a person's windows, you can save them hours upon hours a week to do other things such as stocking, redesigning the store, or helping customers. To start this business, all you need is a bucket, water, a squiggy, and some soap. Draw up a contract that the customer is going to have to sign, and a specific amount of time they will have to commit to. Ask them to pay you on a monthly basis, and come over and wash their windows on an every other day basis.

Dog pooh disposal

Most people love having a dog, but very few love picking up their pooh. In addition to that, the chore becomes insurmountable when you have numerous amounts of dogs. Not only that, the valuable amount of time you could be being productive in your house you have to pick up dog pooh. So, you can offer everyone you service of picking up and disposing of the doggy pooh. To start this business you will need something to pick up the pooh, a disposal unit, and a way to get rid of it. This could be as simple as a shovel and a plastic bag, or as complex as a moving trashcan and a grabber claw. Ask the customers to set up a specified time and draw up a contract where you will be paid monthly for your services.

Leaf raking service

Raking up leaves is a plague to all those who own trees that shed their leaves on a constant basis. Raking leaves can take up hours a day, or an entire weekend. This is time that could be spent playing with their children, spending time with the family, or even just sitting back and relaxing. To start this business you would need a leaf rake and a way to dispose of the leaves. If you live in an area where burning is allowed, a fire pit in the back yard will be easy disposal. Most garbage services will dispose of leaves for you, if you put it at the curb. Draw up a contract that the customer is going to have to sign, and a specific amount of time they will have to commit to. Ask them to pay you on a monthly basis, and come over and rake their leaves on a every other day basis.
